Curacao

Curacao is one of the sunny and famous ABC islands: Aruba – Bonaire – Curacao. The former Dutch colony is located in the southwestern part of the Caribbean. As a destination for photo & film productions Curacao has a lot to offer. Firstly, Curacao has many tropical beaches with crystal clear waters. Secondly, Willemstad has a colorful city center which is an UNESCO World Heritage site. Thirdly, Curacao has European style villas, modern beach clubs and also historical characteristic buildings. And last but not least, the island has unique rocky and red sand landscapes.

Curacao is a fairly small island, so it’s easy to get around. To drive from the east part to the sparsely populated west part will only take 1 hour. The island is easy accessible with daily direct flights from Europe and the Americas. And most importantly, Curacao is a dry location and it’s got 365 days of summer. So you can shoot all year around. In conclusion, Curacao is the perfect playground for fashion photography, editorial shoots and commercial photo and film productions.
