Douwe Bob on the cover of L'HOMO Magazine

Douwe Bob channeled his inner cowboy for this cover shoot of L’HOMO magazine. And it was steaming hot on set, however not only because of the Curacao sun!

For those who don’t know Douwe Bob. His career took off when he won the talent show ‘best singer-songwriter of Holland’ and in 2012 he represented The Netherlands at the Euro Vision Songfestival.

In the personal interview, Douwe officially announced that he is both attracted to men and women. Coming out about his bi-sexuality was namely to support the youth who are struggling with their sexuality.

For this shoot, we scouted the desert area located on the north side of the island. It is a unique location with cactuses scattered around, red dusty sand and bushes with thorns surrounded by a wall of rocks. Every lonesome cowboy will feel right at home wandering this area. The good thing about this location is that it is easy to reach by car and only takes about a forty-five minutes drive. Besides that, when you catch the golden hour you get that amazing shot you are looking for! For more locations check out our location portfolio!
